MAKING THE INVISIBLE VISIBLE

  • FLOCK DANCE CENTER 8371 North Interstate Avenue #4 Portland, OR, 97217 United States (map)

Both movement and image arise from a place of abstract understanding- of intuitive depth that bypasses the language of our everyday interaction and presents itself through form, color, shape and dynamic. By making the invisible visible we can interact, observe and allow what has come out to impress back upon us.

In this workshop we invite the expressions of the un-analyzable through practices rooted creative play. We will give the unconscious a container. Co-facilitators Tracy Broyles and jaime lee christiana will guide you through exercises based in Dance/somatic inquiry and Core Energetics (Tracy), and experimenting with object/reflective altar building (jaime lee.)
