Class Offerings

Intermediate/Advanced Reformer and Mixed Equipment Class

We will build exponentially on the Pilates basics, flowing from one exercise to the next. The application of fluid strength, breath support and movement retention will be of particular focus. Participants should know their bodies and limits, and are given permission to take care of themselves within the class structure. While based primarily on Pilates equipment, some standing and floor work may be incorporated.

"S.E.A." (Structural and Energetic Alignment)

We will play with finding support from within -- the deep core layers and body architecture; and without -- the environment and surfaces around us. We will address the movement of energy in the body and look to clear constrictions that inhibit flow. Meditation, movement sequencing, and breath work may all be incorporated. Some versions of this class will end with dancing a choreographed phrase or consciousness.
