Thoughts on the development of S.E.A.

When the flow of energy is blocked in the body what happens?  A weight, confusion, exhaustion. Like anything trapped it morphs into something negative in  its frustrated desire to be free.  What traps it? What stops the movement? The physical body. Bound muscles, held from tension or inactivity, or maybe displaced skeletal alignment.  All our bones eventually reflect in the spine.  The spine is the central channel for our nervous and energetic system. Even the smallest mis-alignment can affect your “nervous” state.

Through movement we affect breathing, circulation, muscles, bones, fascia. We address our focus, will, determination, ego and grace. We increase and alter the flow of energy through the physical and energetic body.

Will we do it “perfect?” This is a not a question but a statement of fear.

Doing it at all is what matters. The work will address our systems whether we know it or not.

The more open we are to the unknowing of it, the greater the benefit.

The Beginning

Greetings!

I have recently added an entry from my travels in Scotland and England, listed under blog pages as UK. Please enjoy!

pre travel

Against the background of sharp dog barks from across the street, and the low rumble of the busline, I am pondering a series of dreams I have been having. They house a large cast of characters from my life visiting places I have been before. It seems like my brain is trying to get a handle on the traveling that I am about to embark upon, and since it can’t picture what is ahead it relates to travel from the past. There is France from when I was young, and summer camp too.

So, I wonder is this how our brains work?

Our subconscious tries to look forward, and when it cannot, it dredges up images from the past and puts them into place.
